Styles

Two new styles: Snakes & Boxes and Trifecta for a total of 54 live styles out of 60 submissions.

Themes

10 new themes for Crisped, 1 for Crossroads, 3 for Patsy, 2 for Strata and 12 for Summertime + 6 for Snakes and Boxes and 15 for Trifecta. That's a total of 1,442 live themes out of 1,488 submissions.

Styles:

No new style this time! There are still only 8 styles which haven't been committed, and only one of these is unclaimed. Keep your fingers crossed!

Themes:

22 new themes for Abstractia, 19 for Corinthian, 24 for Crisped, 1 for Leftovers, 3 for Pasty, 19 for Planet Caravan for a total of 88 new themes and 1,360 live themes out of 1,459 submissions for this round, and no unclaimed themes for any existing style. Woohoo!

Styles:
-- Two new styles: Fantaisie and Summertime.
-- For a total of 45 live out of the 60 which have been submitted. 5 are still in the 'patched but not reviewed yet' phase and 5 others are claimed so you can expect even more new styles soon-ish.

Themes:
-- Fantaisie has only 6 themes and Summertime only 5 but this push also brings us 62 new themes for Ciel --yep, you read that right, 10 for Librarian's Dream and 12 for Line Up.
-- That's 95 new themes, for a total of 1,215 live themes out of the 1,399 which have been submitted. We have quite a high number of unclaimed themes for existing styles because you guys have been very productive these past few months :) As always, if you wanna help please raise your hand.

and it's been a while! The latest code push has given us a ton of awesomeness:

-- there are *seven* new styles: Database, For the Bold, Heads Up, Hibiscus, Line Up, Strata and Wide Open.
This means that out of the 56 styles which have been submitted, 38 (68%) are now live and only 10 (18%) are unclaimed. I believe these are the best stats we've had in a very long while.

-- all these styles bring us 33 new themes but there are also 53 new themes for 10 different existing styles. We're close to having 1,000 live themes in total and, out of all the themes which have been submitted, only 37 (3%) are unclaimed.

All new styles could use more themes so, if one of them inspires you, go for it. *bg*

-- Styles: 49 styles submitted and 29 live (59%) so no progress on that front since last time although I believe there could be a few new styles in the upcoming months.

-- Themes: 902 submitted and 763 live (85%). This code push brings us 160 new themes in 17 different styles. Not bad, right? *g* Many thanks again to Laitaine for helping me out! You're a star.

-- Styles with fewer than fifteen themes are still Boxes and Borders, Modish, Skittlish Dreams, Sunday Morning and Tabula Rasa. Many thanks to everybody who submitted themes for the new styles (Crisped, Dusty Foot and Five AM). Only a small part of the Dusty Foot submissions have made it in this push but the rest is ready for the next one.

-- Styles: 47 styles submitted and 27 live. Yay one new style! (And I have another one from TAMM patched and almost ready for review. Progress!)

-- Themes: 608 submitted* and 486 live. OMG. That's 74 new themes in less than a month! What have you guys eaten?!

-- Styles with fewer themes than others are: Boxes and Borders, Modish, Skittlish Dreams, Stepping Stones, Sunday Morning, and Tabula Rasa. The new style also needs lots of themes so I hope it'll inspire you. :)

As usual, people who'd like to learn how to patch themes can raise their hands in a comment because we have new submissions already. Can we aim for well over 500 total live themes for next month? I think we can at this rate...

☆ Styles: no changes!

☆ Themes: 464 submitted, 347 live (75%), 32 claimed, 85 unclaimed (18%), with a total of 30 new themes for this month (17 thanks to yesterday/today's push). Thanks to all of you for your contributions.

☆ Styles which could use a few more themes are still Bases, Drifting, EasyRead, Nouveau Oleanders, Sunday Morning and Tabula Rasa as well as Stepping Stones.

☆ There are 14 themes for existing styles waiting to be patched. As usual, if you're interested but don't know where to start, just ask. :)

Now that the push is done, it's time to see where we're at.

☆ Styles: 45 submitted, 25 live (55.5%), 4 claimed, 15 unclaimed (34%). Not too bad, right? We can reasonably hope for more new styles patched in time for the next push. I certainly plan on claiming and patching at least one.

☆ Themes: 398 submitted, 283 live (72%), 24 claimed, 91 unclaimed (23%). You guys are still doing a wonderful job! We currently have a few unclaimed themes for existing styles so if you'd like to learn how to patch themes, just ask.

☆ Styles which could use a few more themes are still EasyRead, Sunday Morning, and Tabula Rasa as well as new styles Compartmentalize and Practicality. It's also been noted that some styles could use more diverse colors and/or more dark/gray themes. I know some of you have made multi-style themes so focusing on specific colors and using them in several styles is definitely something to think about.

☆ As for styles themselves, some food for thought too: some users would like to play with opacity; some would like to have an image at the top of their journal and/or more graphics on a whole; some would like to have the poster name below the entry icon; some would like to see narrower styles. Maybe it can inspire you. :)

☆ Layouts: progress! 36 layouts have been submitted. 23 are live, 4 have been claimed (and one should go live soon-ish), 9 are unclaimed.
☆ Themes: 288 themes have been submitted. 211 are live, 19 have been claimed, 3 should become live soon and 55 are unclaimed, which means only 19% of all submitted themes are unclaimed. This is the lowest percentage we've ever gotten so far. How wonderful is that!
☆ Styles which could really use a few more themes are ColorSide, Drifting, Nouveau Oleanders, Skittlish Dreams and Tabula Rasa, and even Bases, Boxes and Borders and Modish.

Special thanks to busaikko and egedraven for your submissions for Brittle and Negatives (now up to 11 and 16 themes respectively) and to dancing_serpent, edgeraven, and liv for enthusiastically delving into the scary world of style dev and making their first patches. You're amazing.
