Pre-push stats
For a change and because the push won't be soon enough. There are so many awesome things coming your way! Thank you, everybody, for your hard work and creativity, and especially you, Cocoa. You're all amazing.
Styles:
-- Four new styles: Ciel, Corinthian, Librarian's Dream and Paper Me.
-- This will bring us to a total of 43 live styles and more are upcoming: five others are already patched --but may not make it into this push, five are claimed and only five are unclaimed. This means 74% of all submitted styles will be live after the push and only 9% unclaimed.
Themes:
-- Ciel comes with one theme, Corinthian with six, Librarian's Dream with thirty and Paper Me with eight.
-- There are also 23 new themes for Abstractia, 5 for Crossroads, 16 for Database, 10 for For the Bold, 1 for Funky Circles, 8 for Line Up, 6 for Marginless, 6 for Nouveau Oleanders and 18 for Strata.
-- Phew! That's a total of 135 new themes for both existing and new styles --biggest number ever I think-- and 1,120 themes in total. Yay! We've gone over 1,000! 20 more are patched and 26 are claimed while only 32 are not. In percents that's 93% of all submitted themes live and only 3% unclaimed.
See why I couldn't wait now? *bg*
P.S. I'll edit this after the push to link to the new styles and include our updated charts (yeah, there are charts).
P.P.S Done!
Sorry the images aren't better. Google isn't very good at displaying things in readable size and converting actual charts to pics. I would publish the charts but I can't do it without publishing the stylesheets as well and these contain private information.

Semi-related: My last drop of themes (http://dreamscapes.dreamwidth.org/101651.html) is live on site, but I haven't received my points for them. Do you know if the points-sending-process is something in the works and I should be patient a while longer, or if I should drop a note to someone? (You? Fu? D?)

I only know that it's been delayed because a lot of people are due some points. I don't really know who's taking care of that so I'd ask Fu or Denise. I'm pretty sure it's just a case of so many things to do and so little time but it can't hurt to ask.

For styles it's a bit more complicated. Your style will be easier to patch if:
-- you made it from Tabula Rasa without disabling the original stylesheet then added your own CSS. CSS conversions like these can take time but are generally easy. Modifying another style is pretty easy to patch in general as well. If that doesn't work for you, it's fine to do it differently of course.
-- same thing but you set properties and used them in your CSS instead of hardcoding colors, fonts, etc. Here's a guide which might help you with that. It also helps to look at other styles' code to get a sense on how it's done. source codes can be found here.
For previews, you need to add these two lines to your layer(s):
layerinfo "source_viewable" = 1;
layerinfo "is_public" = 1;
Then link to the theme layer ID with this URL:
http://www.dreamwidth.org/customize/preview_redirect?themeid=#123456
The theme layer ID is the number listed next to your layer or at the top of the layer editor (12456 in my example).
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask them! Here or via PM or even at
