Community focused on the development and submission of official styles and themes, as well as mood themes on Dreamwidth. This is a place for designers to trade ideas, ask questions and post style or themes for comment or testing before final submission.
Anyone at all can post to the community, you don't have to be a member! Posting is moderated, but one of the mods will generally get your post approved and up within the hour, often much faster. You can see the full entry guidelines here. A few points of note:
Please do! This is a place to pool resources, and if you see a question you know the answer to, an issue you can help with, or a submission you can take a minute to test, please jump in.
If you are at all interested in helping make the code patches to put new themes and styles up on the site, please, please let us know! We'll be happy to help you get set up to do it, it's really easy, and we always need more people doing this.
Community Guidelines
Posting
Anyone at all can post to the community, you don't have to be a member! Posting is moderated, but one of the mods will generally get your post approved and up within the hour, often much faster. You can see the full entry guidelines here. A few points of note:
- Your submission should include a statement that your work is entirely yours (or, if you based it on other resources, include links to those resources so that we can verify we're legally allowed to use them) and that you are submitting it to us for use in the Dreamwidth codebase, which is licensed under the GPL license.
- If you are posting an unfinished style or theme for comment, tag it with "-draft".
- If you are posting something for testing, tag it with "-needs testing".
- If you are posting a finalized submission, tag it with "-submission".
