☆ No change on the layout front so let's not talk about that, right? :/ Seriously, if anybody has any idea on how to make conversion easier and faster and not that scary never-ending project, please speak up.
☆ 263 themes have been submitted. 202 are live (=77%). How awesome is that? Dreamwidth has over 200 styles! For over 20 different layouts! 7 more themes should be live soon. 54 (=20.5%) are unclaimed. Only two of them are for an existing layout and, you guessed it, they need conversion.
☆ Styles which could use a few more themes are Brittle, Drifting, Nouveau Oleanders, ColorSide, Negatives, Skittlish Dreams and Tabula Rasa.

Many thanks to all the designers who've made more themes for Blanket and Refried Tablet (now up to 11 and 10 themes respectively). You rock!

I'm working on something vaguely like the teals theme I did for Refried Tablet for Brittle. (Right now it is just a mockup that I did. But I should get the chance to actually do it when finals are over!)

I posted a tabula rasa layout to be converted looong ago when we started submitting, but haven't heard back for some time now. I don't know if it will be converted or not and don't want anyone to hurry, but since i submitted it long ago i was just wondering what happened with it? xD Don't worry i know it must be a pain in the ass to convert all of this, i really do.

Sorry about that, carisma_sensei. There aren't many people working on styles. Actually, there are very, very few people working on styles at the moment and yeah, what you said about converting. One additional issue here is that your style is still marked as needing testing to make sure it looks good with different font sizes, different screen sizes, in different browsers. For example, right now the summary module is cut off in 15px with my default resolution (1440x900) and a 1024x768 resolution. This kind of issue has to be fixed before any conversion can happen. So nothing really happened with your layout: it's just waiting for someone with enough time and skills to convert it. :/

I see! Wow so it does take a lot of testing sjfhasjdhgf it's ok, don't worry. I'm in no rush for it to be converted or anything xD I'm just glad you worked so hard this far to bring us more styles and variations :3 It's impressive and i'll always support you in any way possible.

Awww, on behalf of everybody who's worked in styles, thank you! It's very frustrating to have so many styles waiting to be converted; we don't want people to feel like their styles are being put on the back burner because they're not written in S2 code; we really want to convert them; it's just that there aren't enough of us and it seems a bit of a daunting project when RL keeps you busy. I'll have a two-month vacation this summer so I hope I can at least work on some. If you want to post a new entry to ask people to test your style, please go ahead. The quicker issues are identified, the better. I'll post something about this in dw_styles too. Thanks for speaking up. I believe the issue needs to be addressed in a better manner.
