these two don't look right when compared to the base theme "midnight sea"; they don't have different header & footer and module colours. just click on my name to see "brick"; "lilac" does the same.

maybe it's something in my setup? i'm doing the same as i've been doing with all tabula rasa offspring layouts:

i use fu's trick of first copying tabula rasa into a new layout, and then copy tranquility III with theme "night sea" after it, changing the layerinfo. that worked fine for "night sea".

with these two i made theme layers based on the new "tranquility" layout, just like i previously made theme layers based on "fluid measures". copied the themes, changed "user" to theme. except it doesn't come out proper.

*testing*. ah. when i plug the "brick" code into the tranquility layout directly, it does no better, except i get a different background colour. ok, so it's not me being a doofus.

Yes, these are three variations, actually. Brick should not have a bg color for either header or sidebar, while Lilac should only have a bg color for sidebar and not header. That can be changed by the user just by blanking out the appropriate background colors, of course, but I wanted to make sure the first three themes out of the gate displayed those particular color arrangements so people know they're possible.

i see that mixing the theme layout up causes confusion for some people. *ack*; i was worried about that, but i still think it's better to do it as long as we're stuck with the current design for the "select style" page.
