I like the colouring and general look of this but when I test this in my test journal the sidebar appears under the entries which I don't think it's supposed to, or is it?

Yes, it is, because the current default of Tabula Rasa is one column. If you go to Customize and set it to two columns, it will appear on the side.

I should have realised it would be something simple like that. Now it's looking very good. I really like the colours, it's a very restfull layout.

Hm, my one issue is that the layout changes the text. I mean I kinda like having shorter text, but I don't want to have different text between official layouts, since that can be disorienting.

Really? I wouldn't think so, as long as it's just a short version and not something arcane or twee. And, frankly, this is the only way to keep the entry links on Recent Entries or comms one mods from wrapping in a difficult-to-read way at even medium screen resolutions. I split up the interaction and management links on single-entry pages for just that reason, but I'd like to keep everything in a single line elsewhere.

is this what it should look like?

i am especially wondering about the empty "group two" sidebar below the entries. usually when i choose "1 sidebar left", a group two with nothing assigned to it disappears.



while it doesn't look bad with this page layout, i just checked the 3 column layouts, and the empty sidebar appears there as well, which looks like a bug.

Well, that's what it should look like, except that something should be in the group-two bar down at the bottom or else it should vanish. *checks code again* Yeah, if there's nothing in it, it should just collapse and be invisible. *frowns* Unless the Tabula Rasa code is somehow applying the module background color to #secondary and #tertiary themselves... Let me go check that.

Ah, there we go! Okay, stripped padding and added margins, and now empty sidebar groups should disappear properly.
