I've finished converting into em and variables. (:
Note: The footer is disabled and this layout only functions in two-columns-right and one-column.

Fantastic conversion; it's going to be very very (and did I say very?) easy to make this an official layer.

I appreciate it if you could check my page and see if the same is occuring. (:

Hrm. :-/
I'll try again, and see what it is that I've caused it to go wrong.

I didn't go into customize theme the first time. If I had, I would have found that there was a style sheet still in the CSS box. That style sheet messed up the layout.

I also removed the invisible separator hack div, and the #tertiary div (carry overs from Tabula Rasa).
Also removed the footer from the HTML altogether *g*
Just very tiny tweaks to get rid of stuff that wasn't being used
One suggestion, how about we make the blockquote background color a slightly lighter color of the page background? $*color_page_background->lighter() lightens it just a tidge. I noticed it was something like that in your original previews, and that could be useful for color themes of your layout with slightly darker backgrounds.
And speaking of color themes, I was showing off your layout in IRC, and someone in there liked it so much they went ahead and submitted a color tweak on the spot (which set a record for how quickly someone-not-the-author submitted a theme after a layout was made official). I mean, the layout hasn't even been committed yet *g*!
I have the color shift here right now:

So, FYI: I've named the current theme "Tropical", of the layout "Bases", and the color shift is "Summer Holiday. Do tell me if you have something different in mind!

I like those tweaks! And about the blockquote, that sounds like a good idea. ( I wish I knew lighter() existed when I was converting this! )
The colour shift looks nice! I think they forgot to change the hover colours though.
I'm fine with the names! (:

It should be out by next code push though!
ETA: And it's not too light to add darker/lighter stuff, if you find anything you wish to do that to, right now *g*

I think it's fine since I've managed to link everything to comments title background.
Oh and could you do a small change for me? Could you make the layout credit Malionette into a link to the user Malionette?

.module-credit .module-content {padding: 0 0.5em 0 0.5em; }
I think that's all, it looks good to me. Good job and thank you! (:

Here's the two themes:

And thank you for this layout! I'm really looking forward to having it go live :)

Will do with the renaming! It'll take a bit, though; we just found out that the tool we need to use to do the switch is broken. I'll message you when we get that fixed.

It's ok, i'll wait.
