The Funky Circles theme is fun! Something you may not know: there are settings for the box shadows which are not visible in Customize should you need them:

set color_shadow = "#111";
set color_shadow_alt = "#8c8c8c";

Problem in Heart of Darkness / Funky Circles

[ninetydegrees]

Links in entries and comments on hover are unreadable because the background and foreground colors are identical. Did you mean the hover background color to be #111?

Edit: ok since you didn't answer I assumed this is what you would have liked and submitted the patch.
