Something really weird is going on - when I switch to IE, the sidebar seems to switch to the opposite side, and the navbar gets mangled again. It may be that my browser isn't refreshing properly, but I'd suggest double-checking this in IE, just in case.

This doesn't happen to me but it's still worth investigating. However, if this happens, it can't be a bug with the color theme. It must be a bug with the style itself. A support report is the best option then, I think.

I couldn't apply your patch and I wonder if you've updated to the latest version of the code because your theme went below 'brick' and there has been other themes added since then.

And a few minor things if you redo your patch:
-- Please put color_page_title before color_header_background and remove blank lines within color categories.
-- Please replace #000000 with its shorthand form: #000

The rest looks perfect.

You could try hg update -C tip (as explained in http://wiki.dwscoalition.org/notes/Dev_Maintenance#Updating_to_the_correct_branch). Maybe you're not in the correct branch. I don't know.
