Two Colourthemes / Transmogrified / Green

Because I love Transmogrified and it clearly needs more green. Two themes - one light on dark, one dark on light.

I am looking to improve my Transmogrified style, and I very much like your Dark Forest color. How do I get it for my account? I have little experience with style customization; I edited Transmogrified when I set up my account to make a few color changes, but you have done a lot, and it looks great.

Do I copy your layout info into the customize area? You can see how little I know; possibly you know of a place on DW that will tell the ignorant and unskilled how to go about this.

Eventually both of these themes will actually be added to Dreamwidth as official themes. This community is for designers to submit their themes to be added to Dreamwidth.

In the mean time though, go to http://www.dreamwidth.org/customize/advanced/styles and down the bottom at 'Create Style' type in Dark Forest and hit 'Create'. On the next page, select 'Transmogrified' as the layout and hit 'Change'. When that reloads, under 'Theme' select 'Other' and in the new text box, enter dancing_serpent's layer ID number: 86558. You'll then be taken back to your styles list, with Dark Forest on the page. Next to this, click 'Use' and you should be right to go.

It worked. Thank you. It deserves to be an official theme. I got to this page through a network, I think. I clearly don't belong here and need to wait for those with skill to do the work, but thank you for responding to my impatience. I can't resist a good green.

Both of these are great!! Pure green is such a difficult colour to work with I've always thought. They always seem to turn either blue-ish or yellowish when I try to use them.
