There are a couple of color changes that I had to do via css because the fields aren't available in the wizard (btw, is that a bug or was that intentional?) and my ability to figure out the right S2 commands is non-existent. I'm not sure if I need to change that before I submit it. If not, then this is finished.

I like the colours, very elegant! I'm not sure about the hover colour on the nav bar at the bottom though, the light orange might be too close to the grey in lightness/saturation because it almost looks like it disappears. Also, on the Archive page the day names are invisible because they're in the same colour as the background.

I've made the orange a bit darker, so hopefully that will help with that problem. As for the archive day names... I have utterly no idea how to fix that. I guess that's what I get for not spending enough time staring at the pages I don't use.

I like the darker orange very much!

I tried fiddling around a bit and looking at Blanket's layer code and found that adding .month th { color: #d5d6d6; } to the custom css made the day names visible again.

I can't answer you about the border color 'issue' but I've asked the person who converted the layout about it.
