The layout looks fancier in Firefox but this shouldn't cause any problem in other browsers. However, the top bubbles are not exactly aligned (to account for shadows) so it may look a little weird in other browsers. I'd like feedback on that, please.

Oh and if anyone can think of a better name? My working title was Champagne but I didn't think it fitted. cesy did!

Edit: I forgot to say it should work with all layout types.

1) No visited link color?
2) On the contextual hover menu, the link color has been changed to grey, which has insufficient contrast with the white background. I don't know how or why you're affecting that, I'm not even sure it's the same gray as your other link colors.
3) Following comment entries is really difficult. The indenting just isn't wide enough for me to recognize the difference between a child comment and a sibling comment. (Looking at it in 16px and again at 20 px.)

Other than that, this is a beautiful style, and I don't see anything that's really broken on it. Viewed in Epiphany 2.26.1 (which is powered by gecko 1.9, so very similar results to Firefox 3.)

There's a bug in Mac Opera 9.64, and Safari 4.0.3 - the tiny icons don't appear. Well, except for those representing those of journals and communities.

The layout looks gorgeous in Safari 4.0.3. There's a 3D effect to it. The 3D effect is not quite as pronounced in Firefox 3.5.2, and there isn't any at all in Flock 2.5.2 (based on Firefox 3.5), all Mac. I haven't tested as extensively as zvi, but if I have more, I'll comment again.

Not silly at all!

You need to create a theme layer for Tabula Rasa using this page.
1. Simply scroll down to 'Create a layout-specific layer', select 'theme' as the type and 'Tabula Rasa' as the layout then click on 'Create'.
2. Find the layer you've just created in the table above, click on 'Edit' and copy/paste my layer into yours.
3. Finally, choose this theme in Select Journal Style/Your Custom Layers.

If I'm not clear enough, I've made a guide with screenshots over at LiveJournal. It's for a layout called Component but the process is the same: here's the link.

If these are the icons you're talking about, apparently it's normal behavior.

Yay! I'm glad you think so! The calendar days should have a slight curve in Safari too now. ;) Since you have one browser with no 3D effect would you tell me what you think of the top graphic in this browser? As I explained in my entry, the bubbles are vertically misaligned to create a 3D effect but I'm afraid it looks a little too weird in browsers which can't print the shadows.

1) *headdesk* Thanks for reminding me of that. I had a hard time with link effects and kind of buried my head in the sand there.

Edit: I've added most of them. I think I have one or two left. I'm not really happy with the one for entry text but could you tell me if that's already better?

2) I simply used a and a:hover. It should be fixed now.

I don't like the colours but the layout itself is gorgeous! (Firefox 3.5.2) It looks even better in Safari (4.0.3) except that the interaction links and their icons don't appear at all.

I have other schemes! :) Thank you! Just to check: did you use the whole layer or just the CSS? Because I've set them to display as text and I can do that with an S2 property.

Go to Styles: http://www.dreamwidth.org/customize/advanced/styles
Create a new style.
Select Tabula Rasa as the layout.
In the theme drop down menu, select Other. Enter this layerid: 71999

Use or simply preview the style.

Tell me if anything has changed. If it hasn't, I'll try something else and ask again. You just have to refresh your screen and answer me.

I just realised that we've got a communications failure. I meant the interaction links for the journal in the sidebar, not the entry interaction links in the entry footer. (The latest change made the entry interaction links display on two lines with the Link and Leave a Comment on the lower line.)

They didn't show up now either but after some testing with other styles I don't think there's anything wrong with your style at all. The journal interaction links don't show up in Safari no matter which style I use! I hadn't noticed it before because I only use Safari for testing purposes and I probably wouldn't have noticed it this time either if baggyeyes hadn't mentioned it. I wonder if there's a bug for it?

Turlough has some weird issue in Safari. Apparently, it's not related to my theme. I couldn't find anything in Bugzilla about this so could you confirm this, please?

I don't recall seeing one either but I don't check Bugzilla that often and I might have missed it.
