Lovely!

Though, small problem in Orange Sherbet: The controlstrip's small text (i.e. the bottom line of links: home, post reading, ...) displays in white on a pale-ish orange. The result is very low contrast, and can be straining to read. Especially since the font's so tiny.

Note to rising: that happens when you don't explicitly set entry text and link colors. I fix it when I patch themes so no worries but you may want to add them yourself next time. Also, as Fey noted recently, it's always good to explicitly set the page text color (not all browsers set it to black or people can have a custom color which won't work with the theme's page background color).

Right. Will remember that in the future, didn't actually notice it -- I'll also go actually fix the theme layer in a few moments to set those.

No problem. It's easy to miss it. I never have the nav strip or contextual pop ups enabled so I never noticed any problems with these unless I think there might be some and test stuff on my Dreamhack.

Yeah, I don't have the contextual popups enabled. The other thing is that I always forget to set the entry text specifically, even when I set the page text. And then there're the interesting ones where setting module text of links messes things up in other ways (Bases, but Bases is linked in all sorts of special ways) and so I just ended up for a while just not setting it for anything.

Bases, Brittle and Blanket are just... *tears hair out* The more themes you guys make, the more bugs pop up. Can you believe Brittle didn't set footer colors properly because the CSS was incorrect and nobody's ever noticed it?

Still... I imagine running into bugs when patching has got to make you want to tear your hair out XD

Oh it *is* a very good thing. I've learned so much thanks to them and it makes patching whole styles now a much easier process for me because I can try to anticipate on things instead of fixing them afterwards but yeah while you're doing something else it's not so nice.

There's one I keep finding where I manage to make the navigation text in bases invisible by accident, though I still haven't figured out what it is that I do that does that...

Heh. Yes, colour themes are just such a nice thing to do when I should be sleeping is a big part of it. I haven't exactly been really wanting to sleep these days, either. Doing productive things is much more fun.
