Oh, crap, was it already in Bugzilla? I searched for it and couldn't find it, hence creating this one and assigning it to myself.

I'm on a Mac, but there didn't seem to be much of a difference between this and Windows, aside from not having to switch between two programs -- actually, I mostly used the Windows directions, since they were clearer.

The key thing is that you need to create the patch before you edit the files

Oh, that's what I did wrong. From the directions, it seemed like creating the patch was the last thing you were supposed to do. Oops.
