This is the polished version of my very first colour theme, Ocean. It uses mostly the same colours, but I got rid of the hard black borders, corrected the contrast of the links and made it a bit prettier.

I love that one and thought I'd offer it here, too, to either replace the original version or as an additional theme. What do you think?

Hm, I don't want to change the original Ocean, and possibly surprise people who are using it (if you'll look at the styles poll, it was the third most popular choice, and the most popular of the given transmogrified themes *g*), but I'd be really glad to have this as another new theme!

Nice! And yeah, I can understand not wanting to surprise/upset possible users.

I'd be fine with adding it as a new theme. They do look different enough, I suppose, even though they're using the same colours.

I love the original Ocean -- in fact, I'm using it now. This one is also lovely, although I'm not sure the darker entry-subject line is as readable. The darker aqua is pretty, but black doesn't read as well against it. Just my two cents worth.

I'm happy that you like the original version, even though I still like the new one better. The contrast between subject and background works fine with my browser, or with the settings of my computer. It's not black this time, though, but a darker shade of blue. *g*

::grins:: This is *definitely* one of those where mileage, and eyes, vary. They've both lovely, too!

I have to second this concern. As an overall scheme it's lovely. But those darker title bars are difficult to read on my screen too.

It's always surprising to me how different it can be. To me it's not difficult at all, that's why I didn't even bother with using black for the title but selected a nice dark blue.

Normally I check my themes both at home and at work to make sure - have different settings on that computer - but as I'm currently sick at home, I don't have that option.
