Oh, thanks for the tip! I went and looked at Drifting, but I can't find what in its code lets it do the usernames without the 'posting-as', so I'm not sure where it's re-setting the default. I'm running into the same thing with the "(no subject)" default on comments, which wasn't there when I based the style on Tranquility III, but has returned now that I've got the style set up as completely independent. GUH, this stuff gets annoying sometimes. Or maybe that's just me.
