Community focused on the development and submission of official layouts and themes on Dreamwidth. This is a place for theme designers to trade ideas, ask questions and post themes for comment or testing before final submission.
Anyone at all can post to the community, you don't have to be a member! Posting is moderated, but one of the mods will generally get your post approved and up within the hour, often much faster. You can see the full entry guidelines here. A few points of note:
Please do! This is a place to pool resources, and if you see a question you know the answer to, an issue you can help with, or a theme you can take a minute to test, please jump in.
If you are at all interested in helping make the code patches to put new themes and layouts up on the site, please, please let us know! We'll be happy to help you get set up to do it, it's really easy, and we always need more people doing this.
Community Guidelines
Posting
Anyone at all can post to the community, you don't have to be a member! Posting is moderated, but one of the mods will generally get your post approved and up within the hour, often much faster. You can see the full entry guidelines here. A few points of note:
- Please send in a CLA if you want to submit a theme or layout!
- If you are posting an unfinished theme for comment, tag it with "draft".
- If you are posting a theme for testing, tag it with "needs testing".
- If you are posting to get help with changing the html/overwriting a function, look through the patch tag first to make sure this hasn't been dealt with previously. If not, go ahead and post, and tag it with "patch".
- If you are posting a finalized theme for submission, tag it with "submission".
